I go ever year to the Cajun Fest in Grove, Ok. And I just wanted to let you all know that I love your music. It makes me want to dance but being on oxygen. I don't think I could dance a whole song.
Thank you

Hello,
Great music.Im from croatia ,europa and it is hard to like cajun in this part of world because we dont have cajun bands.no live music nothing! but tnx for internet it is only connection to this great music !!
Dear Karen;
I am also looking for information on the family tree. please email me.
I am Isom J. Fontenot's granddaughter and am trying to learn the history of cajun music and how my grandfather had a part in it. When entering his name on the internet, his name appeared on this site. How do you know of my grandfathers music and harmonica playing. I know very little and would appreciate any information you can give me. Thank you.
If it wasn't for Clint introducing myself and my colleagues to this kind of music we would of never know... the website is great and we just wanted to say hi form Los Angeles, CA. Hope your all doin great since the hurricanes and thank u for the hospitality!!!
I'm sending you a check for an autograph copy, actually I'll probably just hand it to you at school! I love the picture with Colten; I think that he will enjoy being a screen saver for a day. Nice job on the website.
I loved the pictures, but I can't help but notice that I think a gator is about to take a chomp at Miller!
Hello Miller! Congrats on all of the awards, very awesome. I've been supper busy with school, made Deans List again YAY! hope I'll get enough time sometime to see you at Barbe. Good luck with all of your future progresses.
Hey guy's just droped by to say hi and I hope to see ya'll soon.

I miss you guys so much. Congrats on all the awards!! Don't think I haven't been paying attention. You guys are like family to me! Austin is great...just turned freezing cold. Let me know when y'all are up this way, Timmy might not keep me in the know. Miss y'all too much!! Muah! Nitney
I just received several new cd,s that I ordered on-line, including Rodney Fontenot, Racines, the J.D.Miller Nathan Abshire & the Pinegrove Boys sides (classic!) and Varise Connor ( the definitive Lake Arthur Stomp, quel swing!).
I just want to say that the Chris Miller CD is excellent and generous, with 16 tracks.
It's a demonstration of great musicianship and shows many of the strengths and varied strains of south west Louisiana musical culture. There are classic two-steps and waltzes, old time creole , modern zydeco, revivals from the pre 20 century vocal repertoire, contemporary cajun songwriting, old timey Isom Fontenot mouth harp contradanses ( he was so unique). This is someone who knows all the beauty and breadth of the culture and can create an amazing mosaic from all these colours. There are relatively few cajun standards which is ok since everyone else has recorded them many times already. The band is tight while the arrangements display the strengths of all, including some great harmonica playing.
Il faut r'mercier Chris et ses musiciens pour avoir mis autant de coeur et tant d'ouvrage dans un beau projet àyou y a pas de barrière entre la culture d'aujourd'hui et la culture d'hier.
One of the best Cajun Bands on the market.
Thank you for giving me the opertunity to listen to the great music you play.
Johnny
Enjoyed your show at the Bossier Civic Center...
This was the first time I have had to hear your music and I was impressed. My friend and I danced nearly every dance and found that the beat to your music was hard not to get up and dance to. I purchased one of your CDs and listened to it all the way home to Kilgore, TX.....would like to attend more of your shows when in this area....please let me know when.... Thanks for a wonderful night.
Although Jesse and I were there we never got around to contratulating you guys. You were great like always! We look forward to seeing and hearing you again. Keep up the good work.
Your friends from the San Antonio area
Congratulations on your win...
Just read copy of the article in the Advertiser. How great that you won! Don't know who else was up for the prize, but having listened to the CD several time, your win was well-deserved. Very happy for all of y'all. Can't (but will) wait for the next CD!!!
I just heard about your fantastic wins at the CFMA Awards. That is great!! Congratulations to Chris & the whole Bayou Roots gang for a well-deserved honor. And a big thank you to all of your families for their constant behind-the-scenes support.
We love coming to hear you play; our kids enjoy it so much, too. It gives them the chance to hear and enjoy the music of their heritage, and, hopefully, keep it alive for yet another generation.
Lebanon Blues Fest...
Hey, you guys were great. Not only did you take the cake at the Blues Fest Saturday (John Hammond was highly impressed), but ya'll were also smokin' hot Friday night at Fat Bob's. That, and everyone of you are down to earth and super nice guys. I'm the guitar player from Malkum Gibson's band (the tall, good lucking guy ), and just wanted ya'll to know how much we appreciated your performances. The twin fiddle stuff was what really grabbed me. Just beautiful music all the way around. Take care and good luck!
Best Act at the Lebanon Blues Festival...
Enjoyed your performance on Saturday. Definitely most entertaining act of the day. Really enjoyed your show. Please come back to Ohio!
Great Sounds...
My Mom and I enjoyed your last performance so much at the CFMA in Baton Rouge. We purchased your c.d. and think your sound is unique, pleasing to the ear,and just plain enjoyable to dance to.
Enthusiasm overflows in your work, and is contageous...more need to be affected ! You all are great at what you do.
The best I've heard in a long, long time. Keep doing what you do best!
After knowing these great musicians for many years, you can expect the great unique sounds you hear on "Bayou Roots" cd released earlier....These great songs are on our rotation list here at Cajun radio 24-7-365, along with all future musical releases..Keep it up you guys..Yall got it all going on!!!!!!!!!
Just buzzing through checking it out. You made a lot of progress in one day.
